TEACHING + LEARNING ALGORITHM
"Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle."
- Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Morgan’s philosophical and algorithmic approach to neuromotor learning and functional improvement follows the model offered by Abraham Maslow, a 20th century American psychologist who considered the positive attributes and qualities of his patients, as opposed to viewing them simply as a collection of symptoms.

This “Stages of Learning” approach defines 4 to 5 distinct and progressive phases of functional competence. Mastery of a skill, in this context, a neuromotor skill, is achieved through conscientious effort and repetition. Obvious parallels can be drawn to both therapeutic and training dictums; technical proficiency practiced with regularity, and/or repetition.
